CPR for Education Raffle Contest Rules:
The Grand Prize Drawing for the, Automobiles, Motorcycles, Cruises, Computers, Plasma TV, Jewelry and Golf items. Tickets may sell out before the dated time. The drawing is open to the public, but the winner does not need to be present to win. 90% of the proceeds will go directly to CPR for Education Scholarship Fund.
If fewer tickets are sold, your chances of winning the Grand prize improve. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and consequently do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions.
By entering this raffle, entrants accept and agree to be bound by all the rules, limitations and restrictions set forth here and that their names and/or likenesses may be disclosed to and used by the news media and may otherwise be used by CPR for Education for publicity purposes . CPR for Education interpretation and application of the rules and regulations shall be final.
Entries must include payment by credit or debit card to be eligible. You may buy as many available tickets as you wish. All sales transactions are final. No payments will be refunded. All tickets must be purchased by the indicated deadline. CPR for Education assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non‐delivered mail.

 
1. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS * The contest is open to all who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the United States. Employees of CPR for Education, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, television or radio stations and the members of their immediate families (and/or households) are not eligible to participate or win. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and CPR for Education will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. CPR for Education will also disqualify and delete any entry received from persons under the age of 18.
 
2. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION * Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. One winning entry will be selected at random from all entries received. Decisions of CPR for Education management with respect to the contest are final. * The winner will be notified by phone number, mail or e‐mail.
 If the specific car advertised becomes no longer available, a substitute car of the same year, make, & model may be chosen as a replacement. Certain features and car color may be different from the photographed representations in our advertising. Any taxes accruing as a result of the raffle, on or after the drawing date are the responsibility of the winner. In the event that at least 7,500 tickets are not sold, the original raffle will revert to a 50/50 drawing for a cash prize with one winner. In such an event, the winner will receive 50% of the net proceeds, with a maximum of $100,000 cash prize, or such lesser amount of the net proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets, with the remaining proceeds going to CPR for Education. 
3. CONDITIONS* Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W‐9 or the equivalent. * By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. * Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, CPR for Education in its sole discretion may require contest winner to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold CPR for Education, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest. * CPR for Education reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the CPR for Education website or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort. * CPR for Education reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. * Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of CPR for Education. * CPR for Education is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

Promotional code owners (you only the promotional code when issued) must have a signed memorandum of understanding between you and the nonprofit/charitable organization that you wish to sell raffle tickets for. A memorandum of understanding is simply a document that specifies what your obligations are to the organization that you will be selling tickets for, and what the nonprofit/charitable organizations obligations are to you.
4. Memorandum of understandings are available from the nonprofit organization that you will be selling raffle tickets for. The document must be signed by both parties and a copy of that document must be sent to RaffleAmerica.com by way of fax or e-mail. The fax number is (716-539-5763) e-mail is info@RaffleAmerica.com.
5. At any time during the raffle or at the conclusion of the raffle, detailed documentation can be provided concerning each promotional code. Verification that the promotional code was used to purchase a raffle ticket for a raffle is available in real-time.
6. It is highly suggested that you request a direct link from the nonprofit/charitable organization. That direct link will greatly enhance your ability to sell tickets online. When you request the direct link, you will be given a code that can be embedded into any image that you wish to use to promote the sale of raffle tickets. Some of our member organizations already have images available for you to use. The advantage of using the direct link is that when a prospective ticket buyer clicks on that link they will be taken directly to the raffle that you are trying to sell tickets for and bypass the RaffleAmerica.com homepage.
